Peak 2 Peak 2026
Peak 2 Peak is the signature annual event for the Palisades Tahoe Community Foundation.
2 Peaks. 2 Comps. One Community Après.
Peak 2 Peak brings our Teams families and the Palisades Tahoe community together to celebrate what makes this mountain special — connection, joy, and shared support for our student‑athletes. All event proceeds support PTCF programming, providing scholarships and academic resources that help student‑athletes thrive on and off the mountain.
Participants can choose between two exciting events — or compete in both:
- Family Fun Giant Slalom Race on Exhibition
Dual GS course, two runs per racer (one on each course)
- NEW: Freeride Competition
A judged event highlighting creativity, confidence, and style on the mountain
Build a team of 2–4 with family or friends or join the Freeride Comp as a solo rider.
After the competition, everyone is invited to the Après Party featuring podium awards, raffle prizes, and food & drink specials.

P2P FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE
Every racer, team captain, and community member can join the challenge. Share your fundraising page with friends and family to support PTCF and help athletes thrive.
- Teams raising over $500 receive their Peak 2 Peak event registration fully reimbursed
- The team that raises the most, with a minimum of $1,000, will win Palisades Tahoe Season Passes for the 2026–2027 season
Race entry is not required to participate in the fundraising challenge or attend the après party.
IMPORTANT DATES
- Registration closes: March 12 at 11:59 PM
- No late adds: No race‑day or comp‑day registration available
- Bib and comp number pickup: Must be completed by 10:00 AM on event morning
- Competitors who do not pick up by 10:00 AM will post DNF

Team Palisades Tahoe will run a modified training schedule on March 14 to ensure athletes can participate in Peak 2 Peak alongside their families and friends.

- GS Inspection: 10:00 - 10:30 AM
- GS Race: 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Freeride Inspection: 10:00 - 11:00 AM
- Freeride Competition: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Après Party: 3:00 - 5:30 PM
- Raffle Tickets - Sales End: 3:30 PM
- Raffle Winners Announced: 3:45 PM
- Podium Awards: 4:30 PM
